We are proud to announce Sopron Spring 2016, which will be held in Sopron, Hungary, from 21st to 24th of April!
The meeting is organized by IFSA LC Hungary. We would like to show not only the Faculty of Forestry, but also our history and rich cultural heritage, and present you the Hungarian forestry system.
The main topic of the meeting: Opportunities of Continuous Cover Forestry. During the meeting we will make trips in the Sopron Mountains. We’ll meet with the local foresters from the State Forest Enterprise and also have presentations about good practices in Continuous Cover Forestry...
For who?
For those forestry (and related sciences) students who would like to enjoy the (hopefully) nice spring weather in the Sopron Mountains while learning about continuous cover forestry and also having fun with like-minded students...

Venue

Public transport otions: you can easily reach Sopron from Wien or from Budapest by train. From Budapest the best choice is a train from Keleti Railway Station (Budapest-Keleti). See time table e.g. here. If you arrive to Sopron by train, you can follow the route below:
Registration
Registration fee: 40 EUR/person
Deadline: 31st of March. Only limited places are avaliable, so we recommend not to wait until the last moment!
